The buildings are now used by the Camargue National Reserve. The sea dyke offers the possibility of long walks or bike rides along the coast of the reserve, between sea and lagoons. A dedicated public reception area is available in the Gacholle Lighthouse since 2002. An exhibition, a small book store, picnic tables and an observatory on sansouire are at your disposal.
