Italian theater with 695 seats: theater, jazz, humor in Marseille.
The Théâtre du Gymnase is one of the main cultural stages in Marseille: every year it hosts a varied national and international program, combining theater, music and dance. Its director Dominique Bluzet also directs the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, the Grand Théâtre de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, and the Bernardines.

Italian-style theater with 695 seats. The Gymnase celebrated its bicentenary in 2004.

The Théâtre des Bernardines joins the ''Théâtres'' adventure from the 2015-2016 season, thus joining the programming of the Théâtre du Gymnase in Marseille, the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume and the Grand Théâtre de Provence in Aix.

One project, Four Theaters. An adventure anchored in the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis, where each structure tells the story of its neighborhood, its city, its history and its evolution. Nearly 2700 seats: theater, music, dance, comedy, jazz, young audience.ille .
