The Zola gallery is one of the most popular places in the Cité du livre. This gallery has no private use, on the contrary it is a space that functions in its own right with the events programmed each year at the Cité du livre. The program is eclectic
La Cité du Livre, within a rehabilitated industrial architecture (the former matches' manufactory of Aix) shelters, in a first part of buildings (Big matches) the Mejanes library settled since 1989, and in a second one (Les petites allumettes) an amphitheater and the Zola gallery in which there are privileged exhibitions participating in a general event, such as the Fête du Livre, the 9th art festival, Phot'Aix, or the Biennale des Arts Numériques...
Opening period (s)From 01/01 to 31/12/2023, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 7 pm.
