Presentation

It was built by the brotherhood of Blue Penitents and dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. It was blessed in 1613.
It was built in the shape of a side cross. Vaults have an ogival style. Frescoes and hall were executed in 1864.
The altar is in marble white from Carrare and supports a very beautiful statue of Notre Dame de la Garde in sculptured and golden oak given by the Blue Penitents in 1630.
Strategic in the navigation of the sailors, the Chapel is completely decorated with the most beautiful marine ex-voto of Provence, presents of the sailors grateful to the Virgin of La Garde.
The chapel opens the summer and symbolically on December 8th in the daytime of the holiday of Immaculate Conception where a pilgrimage is organized.
The chapel was restored a few years ago but its position in front of sea sprays makes it vulnerable.
Opening period (s)From 01/07 to 30/09, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 pm.
