The traditional Rowing Club of martigues "Les Rameurs vénitiens" is affiliated with the French Federation of nautical jousting and rescue.
Created in 2009 by a band of friends, after having embarked on the challenge of rowing on the canals of the Venice Provenale, the Club has developed.
It has about 150 persons dismissed (parity between women and men), competing crews and many recreational crews.Committed every year in friendly and national competitions, it is several times titled at the last national championships.
Do not hesitate to go and meet them on weekly evenings around 7:30 p.m. when the boats are moored on the side of the Ile district (at the blue bridge, Quai Lucien Toulmond).
