The only association in France to offer karting for people with disabilities is located in Martigues.
On the main road connecting Martigues to La Couronne, the municipality of Martigues, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, offers karting enthusiasts the Oratoire track, located in the heart of a pine forest.
The track is suitable for all ages and disabilities and is exclusively for recreational use (speed is regulated). More than 60 volunteers are registered with the association (25-30 volunteers per session). The association has 8 gasoline-powered karts.
The Handisport association offers two karting sessions per month with adapted two-seater karts. Participants are accompanied by a trained karting instructor from the association. No license is required; the track is open to everyone.
Karting sessions regularly fill up, so be sure to reserve your time slot. Sessions are available all day on a fixed date (registration by phone only).
The Robert Grit Karting Handisport association wishes to thank the individuals and organizations that facilitated the installation of electricity on the site. The team also thanks Kiwanis (Salon-de-Provence) and the Autoclub de Camargue for their support of the association.
