The Kataclysm microbrewery is located at 19 Rue de la République, in the Île district of Martigues.
Who are the founders ?
Lola and Patrick, a Franco-Belgian couple, founded the microbrewery in 2019. Patrick is originally from Belgium and has a background in hospitality and sommellerie.
What makes this brewery special ?
It is a 100% artisanal microbrewery using organic ingredients, blending Belgian and Provençal brewing traditions.
When can you visit the microbrewery ?
Visits are scheduled on the following dates in 2025: Friday, February 28, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM; Friday, March 28, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM; Friday, April 25, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
What is the price of the visit ?
The flat rate is €13 per person.
What does the visit include ?
The visit includes: A tour of the brewing workshop, explanations about beer varieties and fermentation secrets, a brewery-themed quiz, and a tasting of three signature beers.
Which beers can you taste ?
The beers available for tasting are: Mandarin Saison, Amber Ale with wild orange, Blonde Ale with bergamot, Dark Ale with green anise, Light Blonde with floral notes, and White Ale with lime. The selection depends on your preferences.
How can I book a visit ?
Reservations must be made through the Martigues Tourist and Leisure Office.
