The city of Aix-en-Provence has created a permanent trompe l'oeil in the Place de Verdun, while respecting the exceptional character of the Places Comtales district.
This fresco, entrusted to artist Vincent Ducaroy, adorns the facade of a building beyond the fountain, at the corner of rue Marius Reynaud and gives passersby the illusion that they are seeing actual windows in an apartment block.
