The story of Martigues, city and country of art and history, is told in this book through the “Mardis du Patrimoine” (heritage tuesdays) of 2012.

One Tuesday a month, the town of Martigues organizes meetings on the history and evolution of the territory of the city.
Whether from archival documents or through the presentation of sites and monuments in the field, historians, archaeologists and researchers wish to share with the public the results of their most recent work. With this second volume, and at the time of the labeling of Martigues as City and Country of Art and History, it is the Heritage Tuesdays of the year 2012 which are returned to us.
