The old basin (vaults and carved stone walls) built before 1887 served as a water reserve for the commune. It was Dr. Joseph Chevillon who made him build when he brought to the village of allauch the water pumped into the Marseille Canal at the blacasins district. Nowadays, it has become an exhibition hall hosting each year the superb crib of Gilbert Orsini (artisan santonnier for more than 40 years) with more than 500 santons.

Lunch at the Moulin de Gémenos restaurant, an authentic family mill at the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif.
