"Make access to heritage a right and a pleasure for all." The village of les Baux de Provence is the first commune of the Bouches which offers new tools to aid in the tour for people with Visual impairment. The city is also the first "more beautiful Villages of France" to undertake a partnership with the departmental Committee of tourism in order to obtain the 'Tourisme et Handicap' label for this circuit, a strong commitment to the municipality. This project is aimed at poorly sighted people and blind to discover the heritage of the village through a visit audio and sensitive to a thirty hour. It is proposed two types of tour books: one with enlarged characters and one in Braille, which present both the village via a specific course. In order to facilitate the visit of the village plates are attached to the facades of the 16 points of interest cited in the audioguide. This innovation complements the visit of the Museum of the santons, renovated in 2008 and already offers a tour book entirely designed in Braille. These two offers are completely free.
