Presentation

Located in the heart of the old center, the building is the former property of a family of wine growers who donated it to the Commune. It highlights the heritage that makes Pierrevert the wine capital of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Open during the summer.
The museum has been renovated in 2021 as part of the "Ampelo" cooperation project (European cross-border cooperation program between France and Italy), the objective is to set up a real experimental wine tourism trail within the Museum of Vine and Wine. Through this project, the aim is to create a high quality place of animation and attractiveness in Pierrevert around the wine, prefiguring the first wine library of Haute-Provence. The museum-space will be conceived as a place of meeting, exchange and discovery around the wine and its culture (triptych territory, know-how, production), the objective being to promote a tourism of knowledge, interactive and playful.
This project also associates within a partnership the producers and more widely the Organism of Defense and Management of the Wines of the Southern Alps (ODG) grouping the 6 domains of the appellation "Pierrevert", the Municipality, the DLVA Intercommunal Tourist Office, the University of Scents and Flavors (UESS). Pedestrian and mountain bike circuits around the vineyards will be proposed. The winegrowers' trail has also been redeveloped.
