Half day tour. To discover the fountains of Manosque is to cross the centuries through the ingenuity of men.
Start the itinerary at Place du Docteur Joubert and go towards the small traffic circle to discover the 1st fountain.
Go up the avenue Jean Giono and cross at the Porte Saunerie. Turn right and take the Promenade Aubert Millot. The 2nd fountain is at the beginning of this esplanade which hosts the Wednesday morning market.
Go down the rue de l'Eden then turn right onto the esplanade François Mitterrand. The 3rd fountain is at the end of this large square.
Go up by the rue de la Reine Jeanne, on your left. You will reach the boulevard de la Plaine and its small parking lot. It is here that the 4th fountain is located.
Go back down the boulevard, take the space Privat-Jean Molinier and turn left in the rue du Dauphiné to see the 5th fountain, under the vault.
At the end of this street, cross the boulevard de ceinture (also called "tour de ville") and enter the old Manosque by the rue d'Aubette. On the left, you will discover the 6th fountain.
Continue your visit of the historical center by the rue Chacundier, on the left, you will see the 7th fountain.
Go back a little on your steps to take the street on your left and go up the stairs. You will reach the Place du Caragou where the 8th fountain is located.
Go back to the rue d'Aubette and turn left to reach the Place du Contrôle and the 9th fountain.
Continue the circuit straight ahead, towards the Place des Ormeaux. It is at the bedside of the Saint-Sauveur church that you will find the 10th fountain.
The rue Voland allows you to go up to the portal of the church where the 11th fountain is located.
Go up to the rue Grande, the main shopping street of the historical city. You will arrive at Place de l'Hôtel de Ville to admire the beautiful building and the 12th fountain.
Then turn right onto rue du Mont d'Or and walk around the beautiful Renaissance building.
Take the rue de la République to reach the place des Observantins and the 13th Fountain.
Then turn left and reach the Marcel Pagnol square where the 14th fountain is located. Going up the rue du Soubeyran, you will reach the gate of the same name.
Cross the crossroads in front of you to discover, on the boulevard Martin Bret, the 15th fountain.
Go back to the old town by the boulevard Casimir Pelloutier until you reach the rue Guilhempierre on your left. By going up this small street, you will find the

The Adolphe Defarges street will lead you to the Place du Terreau, a vast parking lot in the city center that hosts the big Saturday morning market. It is at the end of this square that you will find the 17th Fountain.
Go back down to the boulevard Elémir Bourges and, a few meters further, make a small detour to the rue de la Liberté. On your left, admire the 18th Fountain.
Now cross the boulevard at the level of the Carzou Foundation, and don't forget to enter to discover Jean Carzou's work, the Apocalypse. It is only a few steps away that you will discover the 19th fountain.
Then go down the rue Sans Nom to reach the avenue Majoral Arnaud, its beautiful flowery traffic circle and the 20th and last fountain.
