Presentation

The Maurel Pastoral is a play in the Provençal language telling the nativity and the arrival of Jesus in our region.
At 12h: aperitif, meal (either the Provencal stew on January 5, or aioli on January 19), rosé or red wine of Saint-Julien, tangerines and papillotes, coffee.
At 14:30: show followed by a tasting of the cake of kings and the glass of friendship (cider).

The stew is a recipe from Provence made of beef marinated in red wine, carrots and herbs. Originally cooked in a daubière, terracotta container with a lid for cooking stew, stew is a traditional dish and emblematic of our region that is passed from generation to generation.

Aioli is a dish made of cod and vegetables with a garlic sauce.
