Scented walk in the heart of Nîmes, la Romaine.

9:30 am: Arrival at Bellegarde at the farm "Un mas en Provence".
Picking and distillation workshop (3 hours)

Imagine a place where the organic cultivation of perfume plants and their transformation into essential oils and the creation of certified perfumes come together.
The magic of alchemy takes shape in this place called "Un mas en Provence, de la plante au parfum". A place full of delicate scents for a unique, playful and sensory experience. Discover a family passion, grandson and son of a farmer for 4 generations, Gael Briez realizes his lifelong dream: to master the entire production chain by producing perfume plants himself, from the plant to the finished product, including the bottle.

For one morning, take part in the picking and distillation of the plants and leave with your own bottle of essential oil and hydrolat.
Guided tour included.

12.30 pm : Departure in the direction of Nîmes.

13h00 : Lunch in Nîmes at the Restaurant Les Alyzés
(Nîmes' Bistronome since 1989).

Indicative menu (excluding drinks):
Crespeou (vegetable omelette cake with tomato and basil concassé).
Squid à la nîmoise (with cod brandade), rice.
Pear cake

The restaurant is ideally located between the arena and the Maison Carré, in the heart of the city centre.

After lunch, free time in Nîmes.
The city of Nîmes was remarkably built around and with its Roman monuments. It is this ancient architecture, which has been developed over the centuries, that has given the city its identity, its personality and its uniqueness, giving it an exceptional universal value. The city evokes the image of the Roman city par excellence, both by the richness of its monuments inherited from Antiquity, and by the originality of its urban fabric which has integrated them harmoniously over time. Possibility to visit the Nîmes arena, the Roman Museum, the old town centre and its private mansions.

17h00 : Departure from Nîmes.
Return to Martigues around 6.00 pm.
