The prestigious Metropolitan Opera of New York opens its doors to you for a new lyrical season placed under the sign of freshness and great spectacle.
Among the ten shows offered, find no less than seven productions never seen at the Met, starting with Cherubini's Medea with Sondra Radvanovsky at the start of the season.

- October 22, 2022: Medea
In Corinth, Glauce anxiously prepares for her wedding with Jason, the Argonaut, holder of the precious Golden Fleece. She indeed fears the reprisals of Médée, former wife of Jason and mother of his two children, desperate to have been abandoned.

- 05 November 2022: La Traviata
Alfredo Germont is in love with Violetta Valéry, a courtesan with a sumptuous and libertine life. His sincere love for her wins over the young woman: together, they decide to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and settle in the countryside but, soon, money difficulties are felt.

In 1920s England, Virginia Woolf is working on her new novel Mrs. Dalloway. In post-World War II America, Laura Brown, while reading Woolf's novel, organizes her husband's birthday party.

After the assassination of her fiancé in Saint Petersburg, Princess Fedora travels to Paris to find Count Loris Ipanov, the number one suspect.

Elsa of Brabant is accused of having killed her brother by Frederick of Telramund. The latter claims the Duchy of Brabant, encouraged by his wife Ortrude, a witch from the North.
