From Tholon to Tétrodon

Entertainment/recreation Environment Guided tour Archeological Architecture Habitat
Place : Lycée Paul Langevin
  • Site archéologique de Tholon

Commented walk between the ancient site of Tholon and Tétrodon, to discover and compare two examples of separate habitats dating back 2000 years.
On the banks of the Etang de Berre, a visit to the site of the Gallo-Roman agglomeration of Tholon as well as its astonishing neighbor, the Tétrodon, allows us to tackle the question of habitat. How did people live on the banks of the Etang de Berre in antiquity? How did we imagine new forms of housing in the 1970s? Visits to each of the sites provide some answers to these questions.
Opening period (s)Thursday 29 July 2021 between 6 pm and 7.30 pm.
