On the occasion of the publication of his new richly illustrated book "The Starry Nights of Vincent Van Gogh", Jean-Pierre Luminet will deal with the extraordinary relationship that the artist maintained with his vision of the Provençal sky, through astronomical analysis , pictorial and epistolary of half a dozen canvases painted in 1888 and 1889 by Van Gogh in Arles, Saint-Rémy de Provence and Auvers-sur-Oise.
