Presentation

Vilain! is rooted in Andersen's tale The Ugly Duckling, which it resonates with the writings of Boris Cyrulnik and Ronald David Laing.
It is a variation, a creation on rebound and resilience, this concept which tells us how human beings have a great capacity to be reborn from their wounds.

With Vilain !, Alexis Armengol continues his bet: to offer an intergenerational theater that defends the imagination as a source of enrichment and individual construction.
Zoe, an orphan, is caught in the reflection of a mirror, before finding herself abandoned, in the middle of a storm. There, she meets a friend whom she adopts who makes her laugh and will help her find her voice, a way to open up a future, to offer herself a rebirth.
