Invited to Les Salins for the 2017-18 season, DeLaVallet Bidiefono is a committed artist and a figure in contemporary dance in Africa. He returns with Utopia / Les Sauvages: a choreographic ode to travel, encounters and welcoming lands.

We always leave something of ourselves in the other, we always keep something of the other in ourselves. Meeting each other makes us hybrid beings, changes us: Utopia / Les Sauvages recounts these metamorphoses. On a text by Dieudonné Niangouna, the choreographer stages nine dancers with different stories, but all sharing the same taste for elsewhere.
