Si'i is a loan word from the Samoan language which means both to raise, to mount, and to help, to carry. A title that sounds like a promise for a show uniting two countries, Australia and France, and two disciplines, dance and acrobatics.
The French company DK59 and the Casus Circus, from Australia, join forces for a poetic fusion. How to rise, soar? Within a very vertical scenography, the theme is revealed thanks to a device composed of bridges and trapezes that unfold over the course of the show. Three dancers and three acrobats merge to offer a fresco on the theory of evolution; but also on the elegance and strength of the primitive gesture. A show filled with energy and delicacy.
