Place : Théâtre des Salins
Josef Nadj's innovative and insolent approach established him in the 1980s as a pioneer of contemporary dance. Oscillating between reality and dreamlike, tradition and modernity, he takes a poetic and passionate look at humanity.
"Omma" in ancient Greek is simultaneously the eye, the gaze, the sight, what one sees, but also the spectacle. This new creation is therefore back to basics: looking at what is happening in front of our eyes to see better inside. In an empty space, eight men dance together, confronting the question of time and movement, of memory and trace, of the link to nature and to infinity, of the encounter with the other ... for a choreography where eyes, languages and bodies meet.
