Nasser Djemaï returns to the Salins stage. This time, with humor and warmth, he summons old age and this essential bond of friendship that is born when dependency and loneliness take hold of our elders.

Les Gardiennes is a fantastic odyssey bordering on madness. The four actresses play with old age, they laugh about it, they assume it. They are one of those everyday heroines. Time has delivered them from the hesitations, the seductions, the complications that one creates for oneself. The babysitters came together to help Rose, who lost her mobility and speech. And now, in this well-oiled organization, Victoria, Rose's daughter, arrives with her pragmatism. The shock is violent and a fight begins around Rose. Will Victoria become a babysitter? Will she be up to it? The weaver's knot cannot be undone, neither can the family knot. So each one will have to evolve to weave new designs in the real and in the imaginary.
