Annabelle, a young swallow, breaks her wing the day before her very first migration to Africa. Encouraged by Michel, a benevolent hedgehog, she decides to reach Senegal by her own means and find her mother and sister there.

On the set, three musicians-actors-singers share the narration and the music around a virtual Annabelle. Like the film Mary Poppins, reality and cartoons will transport the viewer from the Île de France to the Pyrenees, from the arenas of Seville to the terrible Andalusian desert, from Gibraltar to the Canary Islands. Annabelle's big trip is a story of encounters with animals with full, touching and sincere personalities: José the ferret, Pablo the bull, Irène the whale and many others who will all be keen to help Annabelle on her big trip.
