An exhibition produced by the Provençal arts and traditions association La Capouliero.
Martigues celebrates the magic of Christmas and its traditions with a unique exhibition showcasing the expertise of local artisans and the richness of Provençal heritage. This exhibition immerses you in the fascinating world of nativity scenes and santons, a world of authenticity, creativity, and passion.
Through a selection of unique nativity scenes, discover the talent of santon makers and the originality of the scenes that blend figures from the Nativity with iconic characters from Provençal life. Each creation bears witness to a living folk art, passed down from generation to generation.
Complete the experience with the traditional decorations and santons from the La Capouliero association, which passionately perpetuates this cultural heritage. You can admire the meticulous craftsmanship and the diversity of the characters that make up the richness of this art.
