Presentation
Partner of the SLPJ, the media library hosts in February and March the exhibition "Desires of worlds", adaptation of the major exhibition which was visible in Montreuil in December 2022.
The world… how do you want it? Already finished or to invent? Wacky or poetic? Messed up or tidy? Contemplative or fantastic? To each and everyone his quest, his horizon, his path.
In February and March 2023, discover the Désirs de mondes exhibition at the Martigues media library, an adaptation of the major exhibition that was visible during the 38th edition of the Salon du Livre et de la Presse Jeunesse (Montreuil).
This exhibition stages six albums that project singular worlds, crosses six graphic universes that sharpen the desire to get moving, six sensitivities that shape the world in plurality.
Resolutely turned towards Europe and the Mediterranean, it invites us to open the windows of abundant worlds towards which to be transported. With illustrations by Atak, Joanna Concejo, Salah Elmour, Sara Lundberg, Júlia Sardà and Henning Wagenbreth.
- Leina and the Lord of the Amanites, text by Myriam Dahman and Nicolas Digard, illustrated by Júlia Sardà, Gallimard Jeunesse.
- Mr Nobody, Joanna Concejo, Format.
- The bird in me flies where it wants, Sara Lundberg, trans. by Swedish Jean-Baptiste Coursaud, The Party.
