The musicians' appetite for creation is embodied in the formation of this plucked string trio, which has been dedicated to nearly eighty works.
The ensemble was born around the first existing works for this formation, composed notably by Goffredo Petrassi and Hans Werner Henze.
Over the years, it has become a source of inspiration for many composers, building up a demanding and high-quality repertoire.
Since 2018, the TrioPolycordes is in residence in Argenteuil within the structure Les Pincées Musicales.
Their latest CD, "Carillons imaginaires", was released in 2022 on the Arion label.
Among the current projects, a collaboration with the vocal ensemble Sequenza 9.3 celebrates one of the greatest moments in the history of popular music
Woodstock Festival, in a programme entitled '50/50: Jimi Hendrix / Janis Joplin'.

Synopsis: The Yin Ensemble is invited to the Curva Minore contemporary music festival in Sicily to perform
Curva Minore in Sicily for two world premieres.
The composer Philippe Festou, in his childhood memories of squares and crowds filmed in Super 8 in Venice, captures in a present to be "reinvented",
the sound agoras of another great Italian city, Palermo: a musical film in the form of a diary.
