Presentation

Set off for a unique day of exploration in the heart of Provence on this unique excursion from Martigues. Head to Forcalquier and its must-see visits around medicinal plants and sensory perfumes.
This authentic tour will immerse you in the heart of the Lure distillery created in 1898. This distillery, specialized in the manufacture of essential oils, will reveal all the secrets of the distillation of Provençal plants. Lavender, rosemary, thyme… You will discover how these plants are transformed into precious oils used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food products.

After a morning full of discoveries, head to the village of Marne for a friendly lunch in a typical Provençal restaurant. You will savor local dishes, prepared with fresh and local products. This lunch in the heart of Provence will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the Provençal art of living, where gastronomy rhymes with conviviality.

In the afternoon, you will continue your day with a guided tour of the Artemisia Museum. This unique museum is dedicated to the aromatic and medicinal plants that have made the region's reputation. You will learn the history and use of these plants from Antiquity to the present day.

After a busy day, the coach will take you back to Martigues at the end of the day. You will leave with unforgettable memories, stories to tell and, who knows, maybe some local products bought on site.
