Presentation

Get involved! By drawing on the history and collective memory of the region, as well as your own memories, the actors from Cie Kamchàtka will invent images, without words, with you, which you will reproduce during the show on 4 May.
You will compose your costume and build your character, you will work on stage presence, and experience the incarnation of characters without words, through the body and expressions. You will learn collective movements and very simple gestures.

Following the first meeting on February 14, 2024, if you decide to participate in the project, several workshops will be scheduled between April 26 and May 3, 2024.

- Friday April 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Théâtre Le Sémaphore, Port-de-Bouc or in Martigues (Cultural Department – Quartier de l’Ile)
- Saturday April 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Théâtre Le Sémaphore, Port-de-Bouc or in Martigues (Cultural Department – Quartier de l’Ile)
- Sunday April 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Théâtre Le Sémaphore, Port-de-Bouc or in Martigues (Cultural Department – Quartier de l’Ile)
- Friday May 3 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. - General rehearsal

The show takes place on Saturday, May 4 at dusk.

Embark on a poetic and musical journey, between land and sea, at the heart of the memory of this unique territory from which they were inspired.

Martigues and Port-de-Bouc are side by side. Connected by the Caronte Canal, they share a history linked to the port, the sea and migration.
The Catalan artistic collective Kamchàtka invites you to experience a nighttime adventure between Martigues and Port-de-Bouc, alongside mysterious characters from elsewhere.
