All year round, the CVM team offers introductory activities for young and old. Sailing, diving or kayaking, you will find something for everyone.

Want to go sailing? The CVM provides its equipment to go solo, with family or friends to challenge the swell of the Etang de Berre.
Want to go scuba diving? A membership to the club will allow you to dive unlimited in the heart of the Etang de Berre. The best way to discover the seabed of this natural space. Want to go kayaking? From the club, row to the sea for a hike along the creeks of the Côte Bleue. Ideal for fans of slow tourism and be amazed by the coves, beaches and typical fishing villages.

What is the best way to discover the Etang de Berre? It is by boat that we invite you to explore the second largest saltwater pond in Europe! Rich for its fauna and flora, we know too little about the beauty of this inland sea.

From Spring, and throughout the summer, we offer boat trips on the Etang de Berre. From Martigues, head towards Istres, Salon-de-Provence, Miramas and Saint-Chamas to be amazed! Perched villages, green nature, limestone cliffs, sandy lagoons and small fishing ports will make the charm of this landscape that you are about to discover.

Paddle Yoga on the Berre pond

The Etang de Berre is conducive to calm and relaxation. In communion with nature, try paddle yoga (or paddle fitness).

It is Fabienne from the Péniche Martégale (and who lives there!) who invites you to experience this life-size immersion. In a small group, let yourself go and take the time to recharge your batteries.

Ferrières beach

It is on the edge of the Etang de Berre and in the city center of Martigues that Ferrières beach was born. Once very popular with locals, Ferrières beach is getting a makeover!

Tourists and locals meet every summer to enjoy the salt water of the pond. Tests are regularly carried out to ensure the quality of bathing water.

An equipped fine sandy beach (toilets, showers, first aid station) adjoining the public garden of Ferrières which hosts three straw huts every summer. Fresh and quality products are available for eating or drinking.
